Although the following do not reflect word for word of what a Star Wars Mandalorian is, they are what makes us real Mandalorians. They are practical for this day and time.
-All Mandalorians are to follow and live the Canons of Honor.
-All Mandalorians are to adhere to the Resol'nare (Six Actions).
-Mandalorians believe in Change when necessary, through any means. (Change through destruction is one such mean.)
-Mandalorians are eternally opposed to stagnation and inactivity.
-Race, Culture, or Origin is not dictated. Those who join are on equal footing and are considered as being born into the culture.
-Those who consider themselves Mandalorian are bound by a single, unifying culture rather than any one race.
-An individual is defined by their actions rather then the circumstances of birth.
-Mandalorians are to celebrate events of the life cycle such as birth, a coming of age, marriage, and death.
-Each Individual has the right to choose what happens to their bodily remains such as burial or cremation.
-Mandalorians remember the names of loved ones and friends who have passed as a means of keeping their memory alive.
-Mandalorians celebrate the time they have at every opportunity, taking part in communal activities, drinking, and enjoying time with family.
-Its is the duty of every Mandalorian to make their own living doing whatever it takes.
-Mandalorians are to live with Honesty, Courage, Boldness, and Respect.
-Speak your mind and say what you mean.
-Accept a meal when offered
-Take of boots(and other dirty clothing) when entering a Home.
-Pay Your Debts
-Raise your Children
-Provide for yourself, your partner(Spouse), your family, and those in need.
-Keep your belly full, body strong, and mind smart.
-Mandalorians have no official "State" as understood by politics
-Mandalorian Society is a Meritocracy.(Government or the holding of power by people selected on the basis of their ability.}
-Rank and status mean nothing in comparison to a being's actions and achievements.
-Mandalorian clans are led by chieftains.
-Clans and their chieftains were all subordinate to the Mand'alor(Mandalore).
-Mand'alor(Mandalore) is the one individual recognized as the Leader of the Mandalorians.
-Mandalorians have no palaces, offices, or building for leaders to occupy. They are to do their business at each other Homes or in a public setting.
-Signature individuality is set aside in the pursuit of a common goal, and Mandalorians will do anything to achieve that goal.
-Mandalorians cherish family and shower affection upon those they love and care for.
-Marriage is expected to be life-long. Till death do us part.
-Marriage can be a private union or a public wedding.
-It is customary to celebrate new couple's union with drinks and festivities among family and friends.
-Adoption is accepted, and in some cases, encourage. Especially if its is the children of a deceased family member.
-There is no difference between a biological child or one who is adopted.
-It is the job of the parents to prepare their children for the world.
-Mandalorians can come from many different places, so their is no one language.
-It is customary to learn and speak some of Mando'a.(Even if its just simple small words. Ex Suc'uy which means "Hi" or "Hello".)
-Mando'a is the Official Language, however, Basic(English) is the primary Language.
-Individuals may believe in what they want to, there is no required or enforced religion.
-One may not be punished or discriminated because of his or her beliefs.
-As in Life and Death, it is the duty of each Mandalorian to make their own living doing whatever it takes. Provide for yourself, your partner(Spouse), your family, and those in need.
-Get a reliable source of income(Job, Contracts, and other tasks).
-Bounty Hunting today is equated to tracking and/or helping track criminals, missing persons, etc., for money.
-Mandalorians will do any job for the right price. Jobs that will not ruin their honor.
